The Mercy Lounge and Cannery Ballroom reside in Nashville's Historic Cannery building. The Mercy Lounge is on the second story of the massive structure and is typically open six nights a week. Mercy has some bad sight lines and stage is very low--but still does well. The Cannery Ballroom is on the ground floor and has also been renovated with new hardwood floors and other amenities. Good for mid level acts that draw 500+.

Founded in 1976, the Down Home has become a mecca for music lovers in Upper East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The primary emphasis is on quality music, and the performance atmosphere promotes listening rather than socializing. The historic mother church of Country Music. Rents as venue. Many of the hipper acts like to play here--typically sells out as it is a small venue--with great acoustics and seating.  Not too bad for venue rent--$2000-3,000 but labor costs are awesome. Pretty much need to sell out to make your money back.

The Square Room

Station Inn
